Dąb Borowy Rustic — Suitable Interiors and Audience

The Dąb Borowy Rustic flooring is an excellent option for those who desire a pronounced, natural wood grain. This European oak features a brushed 4V surface and a hardwax oil finish, giving the floor an authentic look that truly reflects the character of the wood. The dark coloring works best in spaces where the floor is intended to be a significant design element.

The flooring suits various styles, such as modern, classic, or rustic. Depending on the wood grade, Natur or Rustic, you can achieve a more subdued or bolder effect. Oak is a durable choice, valued for its strength.

Dąb Borowy Rustic is available as both solid and engineered boards, in various dimensions. The engineered version is suitable for underfloor heating, increasing flexibility in adapting the floor to your project and usage.

Dąb Borowy Rustic — Surface and Character

The Dąb Borowy Rustic flooring made from European oak is finished with hardwax oil. This prevents the formation of a thick, closed coating on the wood, allowing the oak grain to remain visible and the floor to retain a natural, subdued appearance. Hardwax oil allows for easier spot refreshing than a full lacquer coating.

The brushed surface with 4V bevel brings out the wood's structure and highlights the grain, while the 4V bevel distinctly marks the edges of the boards, making the floor appear more pronounced and natural. The Rustic grade features knots and varied wood grain, building an authentic character for the oak floor.

The dark coloring interacts interestingly with light, changing the floor's appearance depending on the time of day. A natural feature of oak is also acquiring a patina over time. If you want to see similar dark wooden floors, browse this category.
