Tryfan Oak
About the product
Dąb Tryfan by MAD — Product Description
Dąb Tryfan by MAD is an oak flooring with timeless style and a pronounced wood grain structure. These products are available in various constructions and dimensions: from solid wood boards to engineered, oiled boards suitable for underfloor heating. This makes it easy to match the flooring to a specific project and installation method.
What Makes Dąb Tryfan Stand Out?
The MAD product, Dąb Tryfan, features a light color and natural wood pattern that enhances its elegant grain. With its subtle color palette, this oak flooring brings order to interiors without being overpowering. It suits both traditional and contemporary designs.
The natural character of the flooring is its key advantage. The boards vary in appearance depending on the grade, from more subdued to more expressive patterns. In the standard grade, the grain is distinct, and the shades are dynamic. The rustic grade offers even greater color variety and visible knots, allowing for adaptation to the chosen interior style.
Dąb Tryfan is available as an engineered, oiled board suitable for underfloor heating, and as a solid wood board with a thickness of 16 mm or 20 mm. The thicker board (20 mm) allows for various installation methods: on wooden joists or glued directly to the screed.
Dąb Tryfan — Suitable Interiors and Audience
Dąb Tryfan is an excellent choice for those seeking a combination of natural wood with a sense of coziness and versatility. The light finish adds a sense of space and harmonizes with various interior styles. This flooring creates a neutral backdrop that pairs easily with wooden, white, black elements, and simple forms.
It is also a practical solution for long-term use, as oak is valued for its durability. The Tryfan model combines durability with a natural grain pattern and wood variation depending on the grade. The engineered version is optimal for underfloor heating. The oiled finish further highlights the charm of the wood.
If you are looking for flooring with a universal character, Dąb Tryfan will be the right choice. Offered by MAD, it emphasizes naturalness, durability, and solid craftsmanship.
Dąb Tryfan — Surface and Character
Dąb Tryfan is finished with natural oil, which beautifully highlights the pattern and diversity of the wood. The light finish ensures that the flooring interacts well with light, changing its appearance depending on sunlight and time of day. Over time, the wood develops a natural patina. Interesting details about the care of oiled and hardwax oiled floors can be found in the relevant materials.
The appearance of the flooring depends on the chosen grade of the board. The Natural grade has a calmer appearance, while the Standard grade features a dynamic play of shades and distinct grain. Here, you will find knots up to 25 mm, small cracks filled with putty, black knots up to 5 mm, and sections with sapwood. The Rustic grade is the most varied, with visible knots, partially overgrown up to 30 mm, and internal and external sapwood.
To better understand the wood selection choices, it is worth familiarizing yourself with materials describing these options. Regardless of the grade, Dąb Tryfan retains the authentic look of oak and harmoniously fits both classic and modern interiors.
